Andrew Quilkey asked me to provide feedback on his services and I am happily writing this reference letter. As our real estate agent, we bought our property in Woy Woy Bay via Andrew in 2014 and when we decided to sell in 2020 there was no hesitation about who we would engage based on the first positive experience.
Andrew is a rarity in the estate agent business in the way he conducts himself. We really don’t like the stereotypical version of a comission-based salesmen who will say and do anything to make a sale and only talks to the ‘man of the house’. Andrew is the antithesis of this being honest, approachable and upfront. We have found him a pleasure to work with, he knows the business and the local area really well and represented us fairly in the negotiations phase. Andrew’s great contacts meant that we exchanged at the price we were expecting without even needing to put our property on the market as he already had clients on his books that he was confident would be interested. This process was accelerated which was vital to fit into our tight timeline of moving interstate. Andrew understand the pressures involved in this and assisted in making this a painless process, acting as a trusted intermediary between us and the buyers.
Due to the level of excellence that he has portrayed all through, I have recommended Andrew to other contacts and have not received any negative feedback.
Andrew is a pleasure to work with since he is an active listener. He took his time understanding both our buying and selling needs and catered his plans accordingly. As an individual, Andrew is polite and proactive. He has always been a great support during negotiations and accomplishes everything with a remarkable degree of integrity and competency that is difficult to find these days.
I recommend Andrew to buy or sell your next property - this coming from a client’s point of view – as I find it hard to imagine someone else doing a better job. I wish him luck for all future projects.
